As Congress prepares to vote on President Biden’s tax-and-spend bill, we are pleased to unveil the results of a national poll commissioned by CIFE, taken in the past week by the polling firm Meeting Street.
The live telephone survey of 800 registered American voters showed that 72% oppose the Biden bill due to its accompanying tax increases.
On the healthcare front, 65% of voters oppose the bill stripping $300 billion from Medicare and using some of it to fund Obamacare.
A comprehensive poll memo on the survey taken July 30 – August 2 by pollsters Rob Autry and Jenn Elium can be seen here.
